GAIA Converter’s family of AC/DC power-factor corrected front-end modules are compatible with common airborne AC input bus voltages and variable frequencies with compliance to DO-160, ABD-100, and Mil-Std-704.
They are particularly adapted to centralized power architectures in conjunction with PoL or isolated DC modules.
The GAIA Converter AC/DC front-end modules include a soft-start, an active inrush current limitation, a permanent short circuit protection, and an inhibit function. The soft-start/active current limitation eliminates inrush current during start-up, the short circuit protection safeguards the module against short circuits of any duration by a shutdown and restores to normal when the overload is removed.
Our products below 50W provide two isolated low voltage outputs and our products over 150W provide non-isolated high voltage output.
