Gaia Converter’s engineering department is expanding to support it’s growth in the aerospace, military and rail product lines.

Multiple positions are opened: junior power designer, senior technology expert and technology team leader.

Job descritions key aspects:

• Design of high end switching power conversion circuits (DC-DC and AC-DC) from proof of concept to manufacturing readiness.
• Continuous evaluation of key components and system topologies to prepare future product generations.
• Leverage team members experience to address all of Gaia’s product lines.
• The team leader will also act as the group technology coordinator to support and expand the company’s product roadmap.

Education / qualifications

• Engineering degree in power electronics or equivalent experience, a relevant PhD is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in power electronics engineering (junior), 10+ for the senior and lead positions.
• Excellent understanding of power & analog circuits, control systems and the associated lab equipment, CAD and simulation tools.
• Mechanical and thermal expertise.
• Excellent presentation skills and willingness to integrate in a diverse and passionate technical team.
• Full working proficiency in English and French.
