500 W integrated power supplies for high-reliability applications
Launch of the GRD-50A-M series of scalable 500 W integrated power supplies:
- Complies with major military standards, including MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461
- Total output power of 500 W with 12 Vdc, 15 Vdc, 24 Vdc or 28 Vdc, 48 Vdc output voltage
- Overall efficiency of 89 %, with full protection for output short circuit (hiccup mode), overvoltage, and overtemperature
- Overall board dimensions are 10″ x 2.75″ x 0.9″ (255 x 70 x 24.25 mm) and operating temperatures extend from -40 °C to +85 °C base-plate and -40°C to 105°C converter case

GAIA Converter continues to expand its product offering with 2 new AC-DC and high voltage input DC-DCs:
Dedicated to airborne and high reliability AC-DC systems, the new 350W HGMS355ZT covers all single phase AC input buses ( 115VAC 47 to 800Hz and 220VAC 50/60Hz) with DO-160, Mil-Std-704 excellent THD PFC performance. Its high efficiency and built in pre-filter fit in the compact 1/2 brick package and provide a non-isolated 420V output, ideal to build holdup time.
The also new 300W MGDS300S isolated DC-DC series is the ideal companion to the HGMS355ZT: its wide input voltage makes it ideal as an isolation stage after a PFC module or to operate on a 270VDC bus systems and provides output voltages from 12V to 28VDC. The MGDS300S is a high efficiency isolated DC-DC converter packaged in the industry standard 1/2 brick package.
These 2 modules combined offer a perfect 300W isolated AC-DC power system to comply with the most stringent airborne standards. The MGDS300S alone is also a perfect candidate for 270VDC or other high voltage input bus systems. Both leverage GAIA Converter’s expertise in high efficiency fixed frequency topologies and high reliability rugged construction.
