75W high input voltage 155-480 Vdc

GAIA Converter is pleased to introduce 5 new members of it's family of 75W modules. These new modules offer a wide input range of 155-480 Vdc with single output voltage from 3.3V up to 24/28 Vdc.
Modules are dedicated for power architecture on high voltage 270Vdc input bus or with front-end PFC on 115Vac input. The series is using state of the art fixed switching frequency topology allowing very high efficiency above 92% and very low noise. These modules include trim, sense, synchronization and load sharing functions, they are packaged in a standard quarter brick metal case.

New 200W DC/DC Converters

GAIA Converter, has introduced at Electronica 2010 a state of the art 200 watts output DC/DC converter family featuring ‘Heat Path on Side’ cooling, redefining power converter heat dissipation.
The new GAIA Converter 200W series has been optimized to allow heat dissipation on the side enabling cooling to take place alongside electronic circuit boards, removing the need for a heatsink, reducing system weight and profile and simplifying mechanical assembly.
The GAIA Converter 200W series has been designed to address power requirements in the range of 200W to 1KW in high reliability applications by offering high efficiency, up to 91%, and simple power sharing without extra components.
GAIA Converter 200W series features ultra wide input ranges of 9-60Vdc, 12-100Vdc and 33-180Vdc allowing multi-battery easy use. A choice of single standard output voltage is available typically 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24Vdc.

New 100W modules for 24Vdc Input

GAIA Converter is pleased to introduce 5 new members of it's family of 100W Industrial grade modules. These new modules offer a wide input range of 14-55 Vdc compliant with EN50155 standard requirements with single output voltage from 3.3V up to 24 Vdc
The modules are packaged in a standard 3’’x2’’x0.5’’ metal case and are fully potted to ensure excellent thermal characteristics over the operating temperature range.

100W DC/DC Module Wide Input : 10-100V

GAIA Converter is pleased to introduce it's new family of 100W Hi-Rel grade module, the MGDM-100 series, dedicated for Avionics/Military applications. The MGDM-100 operates over an ultra wide permanent input range of 10-100 Vdc to greatly simplify design according to MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275 or DO-160 requirements without need of front-end.
The series include 5 models with single output voltage from 3.3V up to 28 Vdc
Key features include high efficiency achieved by using synchronous rectification for the output voltages lower than 5V, no opto-coupler used for reliability purpose, external synchronization through "Synch" function, -20% to +10% output voltage trimming, Sense function, Inhibit function, all protection functions (UVLO, OVLO, OCP OVP, OTP) allow safety designs.
The modules are packaged in a standard 3’’x2’’x0.5’’ metal case and are fully potted to ensure excellent thermal characteristics over the operating temperature range. The internal layout has been optimized to reduce the hot spots and to improve the reliability of the devices. The case has been also designed for In-board mounting offering 10.5mm height solution.
